Your guide will welcome you warmly in Skaftafell and give you a comprehensive introduction to your provided equipment - including crampons and an ice axe - ensuring you're safe and fully prepared before you set off for your adventure.

The adventure itself starts with a short monster truck ride, taking you right to the edge of the glacier ice and maximising your time spent on the ice.

On this Premium Blue Ice Glacier Hike, you will venture deep into the glacier, far beyond the limits of standard tours, allowing you to truly experience the solitude and tranquillity of this icy wilderness.

Last Saturday I booked a last minute glacier walk - being myself a scuba diving instructor I was not expecting anything too exciting, but I was wrong. Hiking to the top of the glacier is just as good as diving under it - possibly even better. The views from the highest point of the glacier were spectacular and our guide Deividas gave us lots of information about the glacier and the site in general. The group (prob 12 people) was made up of people of different ages and different sizes and some of them were actually scared to do the hike. Luckily our guide was the friendliest, nicest and most down to earth guy we could have hoped for m, and thanks to his brilliant attitude everybody including the seniors got to enjoy the blue ice. Making these amazing natural wonders accessible to everyone - well done, Deividas!

What an amazing experience!! This was a highlight of our trip. Our guide Michel was absolutely fantastic, friendly and full of info about all things Icelandic. We hiked all the way up to an ice wall and saw a unique cave like formation where we stopped for once in a lifetime photos! We really enjoyed it

We really enjoyed the experience, it is really worth it to have the feeling of walking through the glaciar with all the equipment they provide that makes you feel really safe. Sophie was amazing!
