2-hour Buggy Experience
Prepare to have your senses awakened and your spirit of adventure ignited! Our exhilarating Glacier Buggy tour is an experience that will leave you breathless.
After completing the safety instructions, we embark on our journey. Our route takes you to the edge of the glacier, where the brilliant ice cap starkly contrasts with the black desert sands—a truly unforgettable sight.
Next, we will navigate through small rivers and streams to reach the sandy beach formed by the dormant Katla volcano. Following an exhilarating ride on the black beach, we will stop at the famous DC3 plane wreck to admire the stunning views of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the expansive black coastline extending to Dyrhólaey, the southernmost part of Iceland. Finally, we will follow the mountains back to the base.
Ideal for active people, our Buggy tour promises an unforgettable ride. Whether you're a couple seeking a heart-racing experience, friends looking for a unique adventure, or a solo traveller looking to push your limits, all you need is a valid driver's license and a thirst for excitement!
For those flying solo, you'll have the privilege of navigating the glacier terrain by yourself, though this does come with an additional cost. But trust us, it's worth every penny.
Don't wait for the adventure to find you; chase it! Strap in, rev your engines, and prepare to embark on the Buggy tour of a lifetime!
Note: A valid driver’s license is required to drive the buggy. Single riders and groups with odd numbers must book a single-ride buggy. For groups and families of 4 or more, consider booking a 4-seater buggy here.
