Ultimate South Coast Adventure

Embark on an epic adventure along Iceland's scenic South Coast, highlighted by an ice cave exploration inside one of Iceland's most stunning glaciers.

Begin your adventure with a scenic, carbon-neutral journey along the South Coast, enjoying dramatic views and breathtaking landscapes as you travel towards the stunning Mýrdalsjökull Ice Cave.

At our Myrdalsjökull Base Camp, hop aboard a powerful, big-wheeled mountain truck and travel close to the glacier's hidden ice cave. Guided by knowledgeable experts, you'll take a walk to explore the captivating ice cave, marvelling at its glistening blue hues and intricate ice formations. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the geological wonders surrounding you, explaining the history and science behind these breathtaking formations.

This adventure is perfect for all levels and requires no prior experience. It involves walking on mostly level terrain with a mix of snow, ice, and rocks. Immerse yourself in the surreal beauty of Mýrdalsjökull and create lasting memories as you uncover the hidden treasures within its icy depths. All necessary gear will be provided for a safe and comfortable exploration.

After your ice cave exploration, enjoy another truck ride back to base camp and from there, you'll travel back Reykjavík, enjoying the South Coast view again, now from the other direction.

This tour also includes stops at the stunning Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss, part of the Seljalandsá River originating from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier, offers the unique experience of walking behind the waterfall. We highly recommend bringing a raincoat or waterproof coat for this stroll.

Skógafoss, another iconic Icelandic waterfall, marks the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls hike to Þórsmörk. This picturesque waterfall has been featured in films such as "Thor: The Dark World" and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," making it a must-see location.
